DECEMBER 2023/24
This year we once again proved thrifted or reused items are just as beautiful as new. The tree and all the decorations were donated to Twice But Nice! Our theme is year is woodsy/traditional.

Enchanted Forest Entry 2022-2023
This year's theme is "re-use". Everything used is in used condition and donated to Twice But Nice, including the tree!
This proves you can have and make beautiful things without buying new!

November 26, 2021 – January 7, 2022
Past and present Board Members along with Volunteers were all part of preparing our Christmas tree for the Enchanted Forest. Volunteers helped with the theme of recycling and gathered the tree and all supplies needed from our store. We had help from another volunteer with the heavy lifting by setting the tree up at City Hall. Past and present Board Members went to work early in the season making all sorts of recycled decorations for the tree, and they are soooooo creative!
Zoom in on the photo......all the decorations have been made from recycled materials.
One of the volunteers that worked on the tree explained, "We weren't sure at first what to use to align with our recycling theme. But it came together quite nicely. We raided people's button collections and threaded them to make garlands; the tabs off pop cans were hot glued together to make icicles; old store flyers were folded like fans; flowers were made out of store bags; old Christmas cards were cut and stuck onto the packaging from inhalers; the star is water bottles filled with lights and glued onto a foil covered board, and the pop cans were just hung. Right down to the tree skirt made from old jeans." (by the way drop by the store....we sell pre-loved denim by the box!).
