Twice But Nice announces local scholarship opening
Fort Record
Twice But Nice (TBN), a local non-profit thrift store is pleased to announce the completion of their scholarship program review.
For many years, Twice But Nice offered the Anne Springman Scholarship ($5k) annually to a graduating Fort Saskatchewan Student, who demonstrated financial need as well as leadership traits. Each year the recipient, as part of receiving the scholarship, would attend the Twice But Nice Board meeting and report on their educational journey and how the TBN scholarship has helped them.
The TBN Board has approved the Scholarship Committee’s recommendations to make two scholarships available each year to graduating Fort Saskatchewan students – The Anne Springman Scholarship ($5 k) for students attending university or college and the newly developed Lesley Macmillian Scholarship ($5 K) for those students attending an accredited technical institute, trade school or apprenticeship program.
