Our History
Twice But Nice was founded in 1985 with an $8,000 investment approved by City Council—fully repaid within the first year. From the start, the goal was simple: keep value in the community.
Our downtown Fort Saskatchewan store has a resilient story of its own. The first location flooded, the second was lost to fire, and the third was slated for demolition—but each time, we rebuilt and carried on.
Over 40 years later, Twice But Nice has become a trusted not-for-profit in the community, turning donations into meaningful local impact. To mark our 40th anniversary, we gave an additional $50,000 in grants toward capital projects in Fort Saskatchewan.
