Showing off a fabulous thrifted item...
the Little Gentleman outfit...not the beautiful baby!!
Growing up in Cochrane, I appreciated being in a smaller community, and eventually settled into Fort Saskatchewan in 2019. I was charmed by the Old Fort atmosphere, the community events, and the nature trails.
I enjoy thrifting and upon discovering Twice but Nice, I have both donated and purchased many unique clothing items. When I learned that Twice but Nice is a non-profit organization and has been so successful in fulfilling its committment to provide value to the community, it gained my respect and support.
My academic background is accounting and I completed my bachelor's of commerce at the University of Alberta and later achieved my CPA designation. From 2013 - 2021, I owned and operated a painting company in Edmonton. I now work for an accounting firm, with a range of different clients including many non-profit organizations.
I aim to use my knowledge and experience to contribute to Twice but Nice's mission, become more woven into the Fort Saskatchewan community around me, and gain new perspectives as a Board member.
