Twice But Nice Marks 40 Years with $40 K in Grants
Heartland News - September 1, 2025
A Fort Saskatchewan thrift store is turning 40 and giving back in a big way. Twice But Nice, a non-profit staple in the community since 1985, will award $40,000 in grants this December as the highlight of its anniversary celebrations.
The organization plans to distribute four grants of $10,000 each to local non-profits. Applications opened September 4 and will remain open online until October 15. Grants are restricted to capital projects—a departure from the store’s usual funding, which focuses on programs and ranges from $25,000 to $35,000 annually.
